How did you do?  If you’re like most American’s, you have alot of checkmarks on your list.  This list is not intended to scare you.  It is meant to bring to your attention potentially dangerous and toxic substances we all have in our homes, and come in contact with everyday.    The average home today contains more chemicals than were found in a typical chemical factory at the turn of the century.  A multitude of common symptoms can be related to exposure to house hold toxins-headaches, depression, even ordinary flu symptoms might not be the flu at all, but a reaction to a pesticide or to your furniture polish.  Any of these particular items can be researched at length on the internet.  If you checked more than 5 boxes on the above list, the need for detoxing your body is a subject worth looking into.  Talk to your health care professional about symptoms you may be having (or have been having over a long period of time), to evaluate your body’s toxicity level and your need to detoxify.

Below are just a few ideas for a non-toxic cleaning kit for the home:

Baking Soda

Salt

Distilled White Vinegar

Lemon Juice

Borax

There are many all natural products on the market today if you prefer to purchase a premade cleanser.  Remember, you are not only taking better, less toxic, care of your home, you’re taking better care of your yourselves and your family.
